Working with kids

I'm FINALLY done with two weeks of soccer camp! With such warm temps in the 95-97 degree range it was quite a long week. Did I mention soccer fields are big green spaces with NO shade. But all in all it was a good week. Working with kids always keeps it fun and interesting regardless of the elements. My kids are quite goofy and named their teams "Furry Penguins that live on mars and eat marshmallows" and other silly things. A guess the days of being "The force" or something simple are over. It was a fun hot week and I'm glad it's over. I've missed the air conditioner.

Busy Busy Busy

Well I haven't updated in a while, mainly from the internet only working in my basement?? odd but I'll live. I have lots to say but I've spent the last week at soccer camp where the low temperature was 88. That plus 32 8 and 9 yr old girls can really drain a person. But I figured I'd post a few pictures to speak for me. They're worth a 1,000 words right?

The Fourth of July. Quite possibly my favorite holiday! It was a very busy weekend filled with fireworks, cook outs, day at the pool and lots of people.

My poor little brother hasn't experience the city of Atlanta like I have. And the few places he has been to he doesn't remember because he was so young. So I took him to the world of coke down town one afternoon. It was a lot of fun filled with lots of coke things. I'd recommend it to any one in town!

Before

Half way done!

The Finished Product!

This is my painting I did at the funky paintbrush the other night. It was the grand opening and they had a free class so I went with a bunch girls my family knows. It is such a fun thing to do! it's about 2-4 hrs where they teach you to do a painting step by step. But you can change the colors or the design if you want. They give you all the supplies and you can bring food and drinks too! It's so much fun and a great girls night!

I'm sure I'm leaving something out but soccer wore me out this week and I can't think! Only one more week of camp and then it's off to Utah to visit the lovely anna!
